Saudi Arabia has eased tourist visa requirements for residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
Saudi Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khatib said that Saudi Arabia’s visa application for GCC countries has now been made easier and simpler.
Visa application can be submitted on the official online portal ‘Visit Saudi Arabia’.
According to the official Saudi Press Agency, this initiative has been taken by the Ministry of Tourism to allow residents of GCC countries to visit tourist attractions, participate in tourism and entertainment events and see the cultural and historical heritage of Saudi Arabia.
The visa fee will be $80 and the travel document will be emailed to the applicant.
The visa applicant must have a residence permit of at least 3 months and a passport with a validity of 6 months from any Gulf Cooperation Council country.
