A Korean Airlines passenger plane was evacuated after pistol bullets were found.
9 mm bullets were recovered from a passenger on the plane before take off at South Korea’s Incheon International Airport.
The plane was scheduled to depart for Manila at 8:30 am, carrying 218 passengers and 12 airline crew members.
After various security checks, the plane took off for Manila at 11 am.
A Korean Air official said airline police are awaiting the results of an investigation.
Keep in mind that South Korea has very strict laws regarding the possession of weapons.
Illegal possession of a firearm is punishable by up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to $75,000.
