Lahore’s anti-terrorism court granted interim bail to Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry till March 25 in the case of police torture, murder and other allegations before the PTI rally.
Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Ijaz Ahmed Butar conducted the hearing.
The court ordered Fawad Chaudhry to submit a surety bond of Rs 5 lakh.
The anti-terrorism court of Lahore also ordered Fawad Chaudhry to join the investigation.
The court also ordered the investigating officer to submit a progress report at the next hearing.
The petition filed by Fawad Chaudhry alleged that a false case was registered against me to make him a target of political vendetta, which carries the threat of arrest.
