The wife of arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry says that Fawad Chaudhry is not being allowed to meet his family.

Fawad Chaudhry’s wife while talking to the media on the occasion of his court appearance in Islamabad said that Fawad Chaudhry was brought to the court with handcuffs and a cloth over his face in an armored vehicle.

They say that Fawad Chaudhary’s children are not being allowed to meet him, they are not even getting permission to meet him in Bakshi Khanta.

He said that the judge said that Fawad Chaudhry should be taken to Bakshi Khana, to meet his family, but Fawad Chaudhry was not brought to Bakshi Khana, nor was he allowed to meet his family. This is contempt of court. He was not allowed to meet them even in Adiala.

Fawad Chaudhry’s wife said that Fawad Chaudhry asked me about his daughters and cried, his two daughters have been waiting for 5 days to meet their father, how cruel.

He requested that please show some mercy, Fawad has a family, I also have feelings, I was pushed, I have come to save my life, I know, I condemn the behavior of Punjab and Islamabad police.

He has requested caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi to allow my daughters to meet their father. Daughters are not able to meet him, Fawad Chaudhry was crying standing in the court today.

He raised the question and said that in which law it is written that meeting with family members is not allowed. Called the jail and asked Fawad Chaudhry about the meeting procedure and was told that they will ask the government and tell them.

Our morale is high, the girls and I are not being allowed to meet Fawad Chaudhry, I condemn it, request the higher courts to take notice and if necessary, I will also file an application for a meeting.

It should be noted that the hearing on the post-arrest bail application of Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry in the case of spreading hatred against the Election Commission is ongoing.
