The European Union has said that more than 4 million Ukrainian citizens of Ukraine can stay in Europe until the end of the Russia-Ukraine war.
This was said by the European Union on the occasion of the release of the new ‘Temporary Asylum Directive’ regarding the granting of temporary asylum to Ukrainian citizens due to the war.
Under this new directive, Ukrainian citizens will not only be legal to stay in Europe, but they will also be able to work here.
Meanwhile, their children will get free education in schools in European countries and they will have easy access to health facilities.
In this new directive of the European Commission, the determination was expressed that Europe stands with the people of Ukraine against Russian aggression.
Europe, through its mutual alliance, decided to give full support to those who left their homes in response to Russian aggression.
Therefore, on March 4, 2022, the entire Temporary Asylum Mechanism was created, with a one-year extension to 2023.
Europe sent a clear message to the citizens of Ukraine that this facility will continue until the end of the war.
