A rally was organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Women’s Department in Lahore on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
On this occasion, Samia Raheel Qazi, in-charge of Jamaat-e-Islami Women’s Department, said that the purpose of the rally is to make oppressed women aware of their rights.
The rally of Jamaat-e-Islami Women’s Wing started from Istanbul Square and ended by reaching Kachhari Road.
On the occasion, women carried banners and placards with the slogans “Strong Family, Safe Women, Stable Society”.
The rally was led by Jamaat-e-Islami women department in-charge Samia Raheel Qazi and Uzma Imran.
The speakers said that they are devoting this day to the oppressed women of Balochistan and Sindh and other flood affected areas.
