Illegal recruitments in Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan during the PTI era have been revealed.
According to sources from Peshawar, the Anti-Corruption Department has requested an inquiry to the Chief Secretary.
Sources say that according to the audit document, more than 250 illegal recruitments took place in Abdul Wali Khan University in the year 2015-16. Due to illegal recruitment, the exchequer lost 21.5 million rupees.
According to the audit document, recruitments were made in excess of the number of vacancies advertised. 128 illegal recruitment of grade 16 demonstrator and office assistant. There were 33 illegal recruitments in Grade 14, 76 in Grade 11 and 18 in Grade 7.
According to the audit document, paperwork was manipulated during recruitment, and eligible candidates were disqualified. 90% of the candidates shortlisted for recruitment were ineligible.
According to the audit document, 104 out of 271 candidates have no test record for recruitment. The concerned members were not called in the university syndicate meeting for recruitment.
