Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that the rights given to women by Islam cannot be imagined in the West.
In his statement issued on the International Day of Women’s Rights, Mohsin Naqvi said that a woman is honorable and respectable in every form, mother, daughter, sister, wife, women are given full rights in the religion of Islam.
The Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab said that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) advised women to behave well.
Mohsin Naqvi says that Ms. Fatima Jinnah, Benazir Bhutto, Maryam Mukhtar, Arfa Karim, Malala, Asma Jahangir are torchbearers for all, the Punjab government is striving for equal development opportunities and favorable environment for women in every field.
He further said that he pays tribute to women for their valuable services for the development of society, reiterating the commitment to protect women’s rights on International Women’s Day.
