Regarding the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally, Punjab Home Department has written a letter to PTI leader Dr. Yasmin Rashid.
The Punjab Home Department has said in a post that security arrangements should be tightened for Tehreek-e-Insaf’s rally today, Women’s March is also being held in Lahore today on International Women’s Day.
The Home Department says that the PTI leadership should ensure cooperation with the law enforcement agencies.
The post also states that public gatherings are not appropriate in the current security situation of the country.
It should be noted that Tehreek-e-Insaf announced today to take out the rally from Zaman Park at 1 pm, the rally will end at Data Darbar through Ferozepur Road, which will be led by Imran Khan.
PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that the rally will be taken out to show solidarity with the constitution and judiciary.
