Karachi: Due to the protest on Shaheed Millat Expressway against the non-supply of water and electricity, the worst traffic jam occurred in different areas of the city.
According to Express News, residents of the area protested against the non-supply of water and electricity on Shaheed Millat Expressway and closed both tracks of the road for traffic.
Due to the demonstration, there was a worst traffic jam in the vicinity of Shaara Faisal, Baloch Colony, Mehmoodabad and Qayyumabad in which thousands of vehicles including ambulances got stuck.
According to the traffic police, the traffic system was suspended due to the protest on the main highway of the city and the citizens faced severe difficulties. Suspended.
The police reached the spot and negotiated with the citizens, the residents of the area say that water and electricity supply has been suspended in the area for the past several months.
