Students belonging to the Hindu community celebrating Holi in University of Karachi were prevented from celebrating Holi.
In this regard, a statement of a Hindu student on social media has also gone viral, in which the student has accused a religious organization of forcibly stopping Holi from opening.
The Hindu student said in her statement that she was tortured and beaten.
On the other hand, Jamiat spokesperson has expressed indifference to violence against students in University of Karachi.
Spokesman says that all religions are respected, miscreants of nationalist organization want to promote religious hatred with baseless propaganda.
The spokesperson further said that University of Karachi administration should conduct a transparent investigation into the matter.
