Indian Rafale jets retreat after detection by PAF near LoC

Islamabad (PNP) The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) successfully thwarted a potential provocation by the Indian Air Force (IAF) when Indian Rafale fighter jets patrolled the skies over occupied Jammu and Kashmir late on the night between April 29 and 30.

According to security sources, four Indian Rafale jets conducted a patrol near the Line of Control but did not cross into Pakistani airspace. Despite remaining within their territory, the move was seen as aggressive and provocative amid rising regional tensions.

As soon as the Indian aircraft became active, PAF radar systems identified them, and Pakistani fighter jets were swiftly scrambled in response. The prompt and strategic action by PAF caused the Indian jets to retreat quickly back into their own airspace.

Security officials confirmed that the Pakistan Air Force closely monitored all aerial activity and displayed superior operational readiness during the encounter.

“The PAF remains fully alert and capable of responding instantly to any threat or hostile move,” one official stated.

This incident comes at a time when regional tensions have been heightened, particularly following the recent Pahalgam incident. Experts warn that any miscalculated move could escalate into a serious conflict.

Defense analysts have labeled India’s actions as irresponsible, stressing that such provocations risk destabilizing the region.

Pakistan, meanwhile, has reaffirmed its commitment to national defense and sent a clear message that it is fully prepared to respond swiftly and effectively to any act of aggression.
