Well-known Bollywood actor, director and producer Ajay Devgn has revealed that superstar Amitabh Bachchan was injured after jumping from a three-storey building during the shooting of a film in 1998.
Recently, Amitabh Bachchan met with another accident while shooting for ‘Project K’ in Hyderabad. Ajay Devgn revealed this when he was asked about safety measures on the sets during the promotion of his upcoming film Bhola.
Ajay explained that action scenes are now much easier than before. About Amitabh Bachchan’s injury on the sets of Major Saab, he said that when Amitabh was doing action, there were no mattresses, cables or other safety measures and every part of our body was injured.
You cannot imagine the shoots that Amitabh did. I remember that while shooting a scene of Major Saab, he jumped from the third floor and got injured, it was about 30 feet high.
Ajay Devgan said that in this scene we both had to jump, I forbade him that it was three floors and we could do it with a duplicate, but he refused and we both got injured.
However it was an excitement, now a lot of safety measures are taken and everything has become quite easy.
It should be noted that the cast of Major Saab included Sonali Bandre, Nafisa Ali, Rakhi Malhotra and Ashish Vidyarthi in addition to Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn.
