NAB and the federal government should treat everyone equally, the court
The Islamabad High Court has given important remarks that the name of Shahbaz Sharif was removed from the ECL under which policy, double standard cannot work.
In the High Court, the bail application of the accused of robbing the public in the name of investment was heard.
After hearing the arguments, the two-member bench reserved its decision on the request to remove the name of accused Adam Amin Chaudhry from the ECL in the NAB case.
During the hearing, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani made important remarks that the names of Shahbaz Sharif, Ishaq Dar, Sulaiman Shahbaz were removed from ECL under which policy? This double standard cannot go on.
The court said that all their names were removed from the ECL, so why was the name of the petitioner Adam Amin retained on the ECL? NAB and federal government should treat everyone equally.
Adam Amin, the accused named in the NAB case, has approached the High Court to remove his name from the ECL.
