Islamabad: In the Tosha Khana criminal proceedings case, the Sessions Court of Islamabad reserved its decision on Imran Khan’s request to cancel the non-bailable warrant.
On behalf of Imran Khan, lawyer Qaiser Imam, barrister Gohar and Ali Bukhari filed a petition in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal.
Lawyer Qaiser Imam stated that the issuance of warrant in the private complainant has been prevented to some extent, so Dalat should cancel the arrest warrant of Imran Khan.
Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal remarked that on the morning of February 28, Imran Khan’s lawyers had said that he would not come.
The District and Sessions Court had issued a non-bailable warrant for Imran Khan’s non-appearance, while the Islamabad Police had also reached Lahore yesterday to enforce the non-bailable warrant.
It should be noted that the case against Imran Khan is scheduled for hearing tomorrow.
