Bilawal Bhutto demands that CM Sindh's objections on digital census be removed


People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari termed the digital census as flawed and demanded that the objections of Sindh Chief Minister be removed.

Addressing the event in Karachi, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has sent written objections to the federal government on the faulty digital census.

He said that the census has to be done in a wrong way and the election of one or two provinces will be held on the basis of another census.

He said that if the elections of other provinces are held on the new digital flawed census, it will not be accepted by the People’s Party.

The PP chairman said that if the federal government does not remove the objections of the Sindh chief minister, the Sindh government will not support the census.

He said that if you have to go and count in your own way and implement it, then let’s do the census yourself, the census is not only for election, constituencies.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that every province is given its right on the basis of census, every province is given resources according to NFC.

He said that we already have a complaint that the province is not given its right, if the wrong procedure is adopted, then we cannot do anything about it.

PP Chairman said that People’s Party supports scientific, genuine and legitimate census, we do not support this type of procedure.

He said that the legitimate objections should be taken seriously on the basis of the issue, the major problem at the moment is inflation, but the drama of GT Road continues.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the biggest problem of the people is inflation and unemployment, we will do whatever we can to end these problems.

He said that incidents of terrorism are happening, there is a security threat which is a big problem, in such a situation people like Khan Sahib have created an environment of hatred.
