Islamabad Police reached Zaman Park Lahore to arrest former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case.
Spokesman of Islamabad Police says that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders said that Imran Khan is not present at the residence, however, action will be taken against Shibli Faraz for misrepresentation in the way of legal action.
Islamabad Police says PTI leaders have assured that they will follow the law, we hope they will appear in court.
Spokesperson of Islamabad Police says that we will make every possible effort to maintain law and order.
The police said that they will follow the court’s order to make the accused Imran Khan appear on March 7.
It should be noted that on February 28, the Islamabad court had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Imran Khan in the case of criminal proceedings in the Tosha Khana reference.
Imran Khan did not appear in court despite repeated summons, on which Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for him.
