Caretaker Information Minister Punjab Aamir Mir has said that the government will not put any obstacle in the organization of Aurat March.
In a statement, Aamir Mir has said that the reservations of the organizers of Aurat March have been removed, the caretaker government believes in personal freedoms.
Aamir Mir says that the safety of the women participating in the Aurat March will be ensured, it is hoped that the Aurat March will be held in a peaceful manner.
He said that full police security will be provided to the participants of Awart March.
It should be noted that the news had come out earlier that the district administration of Lahore has refused to allow the women’s march on March 8.
The district administration had said in the letter that there are objections of religious parties on the controversial cards and banners, in the context of security issues and law and order situation, NOC cannot be given for the women’s march.
