137 Afghan prisoners, including women and children, were released from Karachi’s local jail.

According to the Afghan Ministry of Information, the released prisoners will be brought to Afghanistan via Chaman.

The released prisoners boarded 3 buses and left for Afghanistan in the presence of the Consulate General of Emirate of Islamia in Karachi, Maulvi Syed Abdul Jabbar.

The Afghan Ministry of Information has said that efforts were made by the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad to release the prisoners.
