Strict action will be taken against the airlines for violating the guidelines, GACA
Riyadh: Saudi Civil Aviation has banned the carrying of bags larger than the prescribed size.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has issued a notification of new guidelines, in which it has been directed that all airlines should refrain from loading bags exceeding the specified size of passengers, only carrying bags of a specified weight limit. go
GACA said that some airlines receive passengers’ luggage in excess of the prescribed size, strict action will be taken against the airlines for violating the guidelines.
Gaca added that the weight and size limits of the baggage should be clearly written while issuing the ticket, as there are technical difficulties in the aircraft due to bags larger than the prescribed size.
