Dileep Joshi, who played the role of Jethalal in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Alta Chashma’, dismissed the reports about the threat as completely false.
According to Indian media reports, Dilip Joshi has been receiving continuous calls to inquire about his well-being since March 2.
An unknown caller informed the police that Dilip Joshi’s house was surrounded by 25 armed men.
Apart from sending a team to Joshi’s residence, the police have also started investigating the call.
But when actor Dilip Joshi was called and asked about the news, he dismissed it as completely false.
He said that this news is false, nothing like this happened, I don’t know where and how this thing started, this news has been circulating for two days and I am very surprised to hear this.
Dileep Joshi said that he who spread this false news, I received calls from so many people to ask how I am doing, so many old friends and distant relatives called me, I was happy to talk to them.
He said that this fake news made me know how many people love me, how many people were worried for me and my family.
