Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that 2 billion dollars were transferred from Karachi to Peshawar in the vehicles of a private security company last year, they are investigating the matter and will take action.
While addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the Finance Minister said that Tariq Bajwa was told by the owner of a private security company that his vehicles carry dollars from Karachi to Peshawar in the form of cash.
The finance minister said that in the last one year, this company has transferred 2 billion dollars to Peshawar, which then goes to Afghanistan.
Ishaq Dar added that we are checking it and processing it, trying to check such vehicles.
