New Delhi: India has recorded a 115% increase in mobile download speeds since the launch of 5G.
According to Indian media reports, Okla says that the average mobile download speed has increased from 13.87 Mbps in September to 29.85 Mbps in January 2023.
India’s position in the Speed Test Global Index has improved by 49 ranks from 118th in September 2022 to 69th in January after the mobile download speed reached 115%.
According to the report, since the launch of 5G, both JIO and Airtel have seen an improvement in LTE speeds, which has also increased the income of investors.
Initially, the average 5G download speed was 512.57 Mbps while Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh were running at 19.23 while Andhra Pradesh, Kolkata, North East, Haryana, Rajasthan, Bihar, Punjab, Kerala and Uttar Pradesh West. The average speed was less than 100.
It should be noted that when the 5G service was launched in October last year, initially there were many disruptions in the network due to which 5G users faced problems.
