Quetta: The Landlord Action Committee blocked the Quetta-Karachi highway at many places while protesting in favor of the demands.
According to Express News, the Quetta-Sindh National Highway was blocked for traffic by the landowners at Dasht, while the landowners also blocked the Quetta-Karachi and Quetta Taftan national highways at Lakpas.
Similarly, the protesters also blocked the Quetta Zhob National High in Qila Saifullah. Landlords staged dharna against electricity load-shedding and stopped all types of traffic.
The Landlord Action Committee says that they have always treated the landlords of Balochistan like a stepmother, if the demands are not accepted, they will expand the protest further. Reparations and other demands are included.
