Electricity breakdown in Quetta due to delay in main transmission of electricity coming from Sabi to Quetta, suspension of electricity supply from most of the city’s feeds left the city in darkness, citizens faced difficulties due to prolonged power cut. .
According to Kesco officials, the NTDC staff took a shutdown from 10 am to 4 pm for the repair work of 220 kV transmission line coming from Sabi to Quetta, but the repair work was prolonged and completed at 11 pm.
The electricity supply from most of the feeders of Quetta remained suspended due to the repair work, the city was plunged into darkness due to the closure of a large number of feeders, the citizens faced difficulties due to the long power outage.
