The Taliban killed an alleged ISIS commander who attacked embassies in Kabul.
According to Afghan government spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid, Taliban forces killed the local ISIS intelligence and operations chief Qari Fateh during an operation on Sunday night.
The spokesman said that Qari Fateh was directly involved in the recent attacks in Kabul. It targeted embassies, mosques and others.
Another Daesh terrorist was also killed in the operation in Khairkhana area of Kabul.
In a July 2022 report by the United Nations Security Council, Qari Fateh was named as the main commander of ISIS.
He was accused of terrorist activities in India, Iran and Central Asia.
It should be remembered that in December 2022, there was an attack on the Pakistani embassy in Kabul, in which a Pakistani security official was seriously injured.
In September last year, two diplomats were killed in a suicide bomb attack on the Russian embassy.
