Ankara: In Turkey’s second major earthquake this month, a factory collapsed along with several buildings, killing one worker and injuring dozens.

According to the World News Agency, the 5.6-magnitude earthquake in the Malatya province of Turkey caused panic among the citizens and they came out of the buildings shouting Allahu Akbar.

The 5.6-magnitude earthquake was centered at a depth of 6.96 km (4.32 mi) in Yesheliwarat, Malatya province. Earthquake tremors were also felt in other 4 neighboring provinces connected to Malatya.

The in-charge of the rescue team says that one body has been recovered from the wreckage of the factory while a total of 32 people have been rescued alive and 110 people are injured who are being treated at different hospitals.

The tremors of the earthquake were so powerful that many buildings began to shake. According to an estimate, more than 10 buildings were completely or partially destroyed when a factory also collapsed.
