Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah began to remember his student days, expressed his desire to enter NED University again.
The first event of “Maanji” scholarship organized by NED University to award scholarships to deserving students of its university was held at a local hotel.
Addressing the ceremony, Chief Minister Sindh said that if old students are admitted to the refresher course, it will be a lot of fun.
The participants were told that they had returned to the institutions they had studied at, and that they enjoyed going back to their old institutions.
Vice Chancellor NED University Dr. Sarosh Lodhi, officials of NEDIAN Association, Engineer Aftab Rizvi, students and parents participated in the program.
The Chief Minister of Sindh, in the beginning of his address, recalled his admission in NED in the past.
“I didn’t have any friends in university except a few of my college classmates, but then I made many friends who are like my brothers and became part of the family,” he said.
