Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin will be assassinated one day by someone from his circle of friends.
According to foreign media reports, Zelensky’s comments are from the Ukrainian documentary ‘Air’ (year) and he himself is a part of this documentary.
The said documentary was released on the one-year anniversary of Russia’s declaration of war against Ukraine.
At one point in the documentary, Zelensky is heard saying that ‘the weakness of Russian President Putin’s leadership will prompt his close associates to take action against him.’
Zelensky also says that ‘there will come a time when the weakness of the Putin regime will be felt in Russia and then the hunter will eat the hunter, they will find a reason to kill a murderer.’
When he was asked during this documentary, ‘Will it happen?’ To which Zelensky replied, ‘It will happen, but when? This I do not know.’
