Iran’s annual exports to India have increased by 60%, according to a report issued by India, Iran’s exports to India in 2022 will be 653 million dollars.
According to the Iran News Agency, the same figure was limited to 409 million dollars in 2021.
Petroleum products remain the most important item imported by India from Iran.
During 2022, the trade volume between Iran and India increased by 48% to reach two and a half billion dollars, which was 1.639 billion dollars in 2021.
India exported the most rice to Iran with a value of $1.098 billion.
It should be noted that in May 2022, the Iranian ambassador to India had said that the two countries are working on alternative means of payment to expand bilateral trade.
