Peshawar: The police recovered the young man who had been abducted for ransom.
SP President Circle Malik Habib while holding a press conference after the youth’s recovery said that 20-year-old Adnan was abducted on January 20 from the limits of the police station, the abductors had demanded 300,000 dollars for the release of the hostage. He was hidden in a cave in the hills of Khyber district.
The SP said that the hostage was kept in Tirah Khyber Agency and Orakzai mountain area, the hostage was kept in different places and subjected to torture, voice messages were sent to the family, the kidnapped student belongs to Dir area. From Patrak, the student was summoned to Peshawar by his Facebook friend Saddam and abducted after being forcibly injected with anesthetic in Scheme Chowk.
The SP further said that the youth was recovered in the operation, but the suspects involved in the kidnapping escaped during the raid. Peshawar has started a series of raids in search of the accused.
