Rawalpindi: The police arrested two accused through video footages and recovered the weapons for flying kites and aerial firing on Basant.
RPO Rawalpindi Syed Khurram and CPO Rawalpindi Khalid Hamdani identified such elements through video footage and issued crackdown orders for arrests.
The police completed identification in the areas of Bani Police Station and Police Station Sadar Baruni and arrested two suspects and recovered weapons.
Thana Bani Police arrested the accused Toqeer alias Mani Gujjar and recovered the rifle and bullets while the Sadar Baruni Police identified the accused Fateh Sher from the video and arrested and recovered the pistol.
CPO Rawalpindi Khalid Hamdani said that Rawalpindi police is also arresting the accused through videos along with the crackdown against kite flying and aerial firing. Teams are working, those endangering the lives of citizens will not escape the law.
