Archbishop of Vienna and Cardinal Christoph Schönbrunn have visited Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, along with a delegation.
According to the Saudi media, Cardinal Christoph Schonburn has also met with the Secretary General of Islamic Scholars, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Karim Al-Eisa.
Christopher Schonburn also discussed with Dr. Muhammad Abdul Karim Al-Eisa to establish communication between nations.
The two religious leaders also discussed the importance of relations between religious leaders on the issue of clash of civilizations.
Dr. Muhammad Abdul Karim Al-Eisa has said in a message on the social networking website Twitter that he was very happy to discuss many issues in the meeting with the Archbishop of Vienna, Cardinal Christoph Schönbrunn.
He said that Archbishop and Cardinal Vienna Christoph Schönbrunn is an active religious leader in promoting friendship and cooperation between nations, his appreciation of the Makkah Covenant and its importance for future generations is commendable.
