Fires broke out at three separate refineries of Mexico’s state-owned oil company Pemex.
On Thursday, there were separate fire incidents in the three refineries in which 5 employees were missing and 8 were injured.
The company said in a statement that the fire occurred at an oil storage refinery in Rast Veracruz.
The fire has been extinguished but the cause is not known, Pemex said, adding that the fire did not affect refinery operations.
It should be noted that at the beginning of this week, two people were killed when a vehicle collided inside a Pemex refinery.
