Karachi: As dry, cold and dusty winds blow in the city, citizens, especially children and the elderly, are suffering from seasonal fever, due to which the number of colds, coughs, pneumonia and respiratory diseases is increasing in public and private hospitals.
According to medical experts, 25 percent of patients in Karachi’s hospitals are coming to the hospital with complaints of seasonal fever, while there is an increase of 10 to 15 percent in the hospital in patients who already have respiratory disease or cold allergy.
According to the details, since the last four weeks, the temperature in Karachi has dropped in the morning and night hours, due to which school going children are suffering from cold, cold, cough and seasonal fever.
According to doctors, more than usual cases of pneumonia are being reported in the hospital, out of more than 600 OPs, about 200 patients are coming to the hospital with symptoms of seasonal fever.
Doctors instructed that children and the elderly should use warm clothes and especially cover their heads and take them out. The use of hot drinks can also be useful in keeping the chest warm. Can be protected from dust, dirt and dusty climate.
