In the Karachi Police Office attack case, the 9th owner of the vehicle used by the terrorists also came forward, while the investigating authorities recorded the statement of the owner of Shuram.
According to the details, Ashfaq, the owner of the showroom located in Malir, who was the last seller of the Indus Corolla car used by the terrorists in the attack on the Karachi Police Office, appeared before the investigation team.
Sources say that Ashfaq said in his statement that the said car was last sold in 2016 to a person named Shafiq, who is a resident of Quetta, but I do not have the purchase and sale agreement and documents of the car, maybe they were lost somewhere. I searched a lot but couldn’t find them.
According to investigative sources, difficulties are being faced in the investigation due to lack of documents, however, assistance is being sought from the owner of the car showroom, Ashfaq, to contact the last owner of the car and search for it.
It should be noted that earlier the said car was sold to 8 people and Shafiq has come forward as the 9th owner of the car and after that how many more people bought the car should be determined only after Shafiq comes forward. How many more car buyers will the police have to track down?
Investigating authorities say that only after reaching the last owner of the car will it be determined where and how the car came to the terrorists, who was the buyer and how long the whole process will take. It will be premature.
