The court of Judicial Magistrate Lahore returned the challan against Umar Farooq Zahoor and Sadaf Naz to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore.
Actress Sofia Mirza’s daughter’s passport and documents forgery case was heard in the court of Judicial Magistrate Lahore.
The FIA had issued a challan against Sofia Mirza’s ex-husband Umar Farooq Zahoor and Sadaf Naz.
Judicial Magistrate Ghulam Murtaza Wark sent back the challan to FIA Lahore in the light of territorial jurisdiction.
The court remarked that during the trial the FIA witness testified that the change in the documents took place in Karachi, Islamabad.
The court said that the FIA witness admitted that the departure of Sofia Mirza’s girls abroad took place from Karachi Airport.
The court said that the court of Lahore does not have jurisdiction to hear the case.
