Karachi: Pakistan Super League 8 Islamabad United defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 6 wickets.
In the 12th match of the league played at the National Stadium Karachi, Islamabad United achieved the required target of 157 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the 15th over.
On behalf of Islamabad United, Rahmanullah Garbaz stood out by scoring a smoky 62 runs with the help of 4 sixes and 7 fours. Reci van der Dosen was dismissed for 42 runs.
Asif Ali scored 29 and Azam Khan remained not out scoring 9 runs.
For Peshawar Zalmi, Arshad Iqbal, James Neesham and Usman Qadir took 1, 1 wicket each.
Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi scored runs for the loss of wickets in the allotted 20 overs while batting first at the invitation of Islamabad United.
