Residents of the area near the old vegetable market in Karachi protested against the power outage, which led to the worst traffic jam for several hours.
It has been learned that the citizens were forced to stop their vehicles and stop because of the protest, the flow of traffic in the surrounding areas was also affected.
The flow of traffic was also severely affected on the three roads leading to and from Gurmand, Garden, Gulshan Iqbal, Karimabad bridge and Shaara Pakistan.
According to the spokesperson KElectric, electricity was disconnected in some areas of the old vegetable market including Karnal Basti, these areas owe more than Rs 77 crore.
