It should be noted that a large building of Ibrahim Alibhai Government Boys Secondary School located in Federal B Area Block 10 of Karachi was under the possession of a contractor for many years. Later, instead of handing over the 20-room building to the School Education Department, the contractor started various businesses in it while also renting out a part of the building for residential purposes.
In the remaining 5 rooms of the building, two government schools (primary and secondary) were barely running in the morning shift due to space constraints.

It was learned that various businesses were being carried out in the building by the contractor concerned, which included a wood factory and a shoe and slipper warehouse, apart from housing some families.
Loading vehicles were parked in the school playground, while on the other hand, the school management was forced to put two classes in one classroom, while one classroom of primary was a store room, fifth grade and nursery were installed together with a blackboard.
