Pakistan and Afghanistan agree to fight terrorism together

Islamabad: Spokesperson of the Foreign Office has said that the talks in Afghanistan were related to security and counter-terrorism, both countries agreed to deal with terrorism together.

In the weekly briefing, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Pakistan continues to express concern over the continuous violations of human rights by India in Occupied Kashmir.

The spokesman says that yesterday, a delegation headed by the Minister of Defense visited Afghanistan, in which there was a discussion regarding the prevention of terrorism, especially the TTP.

He said that the talks held in Afghanistan were related to security and counter-terrorism, both countries agreed to deal with terrorism together.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch says that Pakistan is holding a conference on the topic of women and Islam under the OIC Foreign Ministers Council on March 8.

The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the President of Kenya had a phone conversation. The Prime Minister also discussed the issue of martyred journalist Arshad Sharif. Thanking the team for their cooperation, the Prime Minister also requested for more cooperation in the investigation.

He further said that Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto has recently completed a two-day visit to Hungary, three MoUs were signed during the visit, one of the MoUs is about mutual cooperation between the Foreign Service Academies of the two countries. .

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch also said that the number of Pakistani students in Hungarian universities will increase by hundred percent.
