Lahore: In the Sessions Court, the cross-examination of singer Ali Zafar in the defamation case against Misha Shafi was adjourned till March 1 through video link.
According to the report, singer Ali Zafar appeared in the court in the session court of Lahore, Ali Zafar’s lawyer Tariq Gul cross-examined Meesha Shafi through a video link.
During the hearing of the case against Meesha Shafi on behalf of Ali Zafar, the lawyer asked Meesha Shafi that you presented a photo in the court which you accused of sexual harassment, which you uploaded on your Facebook account. Who?
He further asked that you wrote the caption that there will be a party tonight, how can you call the photo you are uploading with the caption sexual harassment? During the hearing, the photo on Misha Shafi’s Facebook account was also opened and shown in the court.
Ali Zafar’s lawyer further said that he had come to Pakistan and said that he was never called by the court, he made a deliberate misrepresentation regarding the court orders.
On which the singer Misha Shafi said that this sentence was mistakenly uttered in the media talk. The court adjourned the hearing till March 1, summoning the lawyers for further cross-examination on the statement of Misha Shafi.
