Karachi: In Gulshan Iqbal, it has been revealed that DSP Legal AVCC was involved in looting from the cabin of Police Mobile Pan and the police has detained the said DSP and his son for investigation.
According to the police, an important development has come to light regarding the viral video of the looting of plainclothes people riding in mobiles in Pan’s cabin in Gulshan Iqbal and the Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (SSPAVLC) said that the looting. SSP Arif Aslam Rao said that after the AVLC police traced and seized the mobile, the DSP and his son have been detained for investigation and the search for the other accused is on.
The police said that the police mobile used in the incident, which was allotted to DSP Zafar, was traced and the persons seen in the video included the DSP’s son, who was taken into custody by the police. The police have taken the mobile in their possession.
A case of the incident was registered in Gulshan Iqbal Police Station against the owner of Pan Cabin, Shahzeb Mughal.
SHO Gulshan Iqbal Inspector Aqeel said that the detained persons have been transferred to Gulshan Iqbal police station for investigation and efforts are being made to arrest other persons seen in the video.
