Directing a case to be registered against the security personnel who threatened the petitioner’s family
The Islamabad High Court has issued a major order on the request for the recovery of Haroon Muhammad, a citizen of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who has been missing for fifteen years.
The High Court ordered the federal government to pay Rs 30 lakh compensation to the father of the missing citizen and said that the government should pay the compensation to the father of the missing citizen before the next hearing.
The petitioner’s lawyer Iman Mazari Advocate said that the petitioner’s family is getting threats for fighting the case.
Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb, through the Home Secretary, directed the IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to provide security to the petitioner and also ordered to register a case against the security personnel.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case for two weeks.
