Karachi: A young man was killed in a shooting incident in the Sukhan Buffalo Colony of Karachi, the victim’s father has described the incident as robbery and resistance, while the police are calling it a personal grudge.
According to the details, a young man was seriously injured in the firing incident at the doorstep of the house in Khaskheli Goth, Buffalo Colony of Sukhun area. He was immediately taken to the nearest hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. It was done in the name of Allah Ould Talib Hussain, whose body was later taken to Jinnah Hospital for post-mortem.
The police say that the initial investigation has revealed that two friends were standing in the street when the motorcycle-riding accused came and shot Bismillah and escaped while both of them had mobile phones and there was no robbery. At the time of the incident, the deceased was talking to someone on the phone while it was dark due to lack of electricity in the area.
The deceased was hit by a single bullet on the neck which proved fatal while he was working in a local factory, police have recovered a bullet shell from the crime scene, police are terming the incident as a case of caste grudge.
While Talib Hussain, the father of Bismillah, who was killed in Jinnah Hospital, termed the incident as resistance while snatching the mobile phone, and said that his son was playing a game on the mobile phone on the platform outside the house, when robbers came and took the mobile phone from him. After snatching it, they shot him on resistance and escaped.
He said that there are incidents of looting in the Khaskheli Goth area of Sikhon every day, in the morning when the streets are quiet, there are robberies and the robbers are not from outside the area, but the police have not taken any action. not doing
In response to a question, the victim’s father said that this is not a gender issue or a girl issue, it is a robbery incident, SHO Sukhan gave us the letter of the hospital. But the police don’t even know about it. We are getting worried here. A father’s young son has passed away and we are being pushed here and there in the hospital and we are being told that if the police comes, further action will be taken. .
The deceased’s father demanded from the higher authorities that a strategy should be adopted to control the looting incidents within the limits of Sukhan police station.
