Karachi: After the terrorist attack on the police office, the Sindh police became active. An order has been issued by the IG Sindh office, according to which the use of smartphones during duty by police personnel in Sindh has been banned.
Police officers and officials were often found busy using smartphones while on duty. In this regard, the decree has said that now all police personnel in Sindh will not use smartphones during duty. Mobile phones shall not be used during the course of their duty, especially by personnel assigned to field security duties.
The order has been issued with the approval of the competent authority, copies of which have been sent to all Additional IGs, DIGs, SSPs, DIGs Headquarters posted in Sindh.
