Quetta: The fifth case of polio this year in Pakistan has been reported in Quetta district of Balochistan.
Express News In this case, the two-year-old affected child showed signs of disability in his legs on April 29, the child got sicker, the disability spread to his arm and unfortunately, he died a few weeks later in a hospital in Karachi.
According to the anti-polio laboratory established at the National Institute of Health, polio virus was confirmed in the samples taken from the child, his brother and the cousin living together at home. The virus is from the cluster.
