Islamabad: The Federal Police has arrested 8 people including two sons and a cousin of former Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas for blocking the path of a citizen and threatening to kill him while raids are being conducted to arrest other named accused.

According to the details, Margalla police arrested two sons, cousins ​​and drivers of Tanveer Ilyas while taking action on the case registered in the complaint filed by Shizaz Khan, a resident of Orchard Lane Scheme, Murree Road, Islamabad.

According to the FIR, Sardar Afif Sagheer, Sardar Umar Tanveer, Sardar Usman Tanveer, Sardar Osama Tanveer and Sardar Ahmad Tanveer along with their 15/20 companions were skating on the road ahead of Jinnah Avenue and the road was blocked.

The citizen said that as soon as I got a chance, I took the vehicle forward, then the mentioned persons stopped it and threatened to kill me and damaged the vehicle.

According to sources, Mar Gullah police arrested two sons of former Prime Minister Sardar Tanviraliyas, Sardar Umar Tanvir and Sardar Usama Tanvir, a cousin and five other persons. During the operation, the police also seized five vehicles, which were also equipped with police lights.

According to the FIR, the plaintiff was going towards F10 from Faisal Avenue late at night when a convoy of 20 to 25 vehicles blocked the road.
