Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi has raised questions on police performance over the increasing incidents of robbery in the city and the killing of civilians on resistance.

A delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami, under the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer Munam Zafar Khan, met Karachi Police Chief Additional IG Imran Yakub Minhas in his office on Friday. Jamaat-e-Islami deputy parliamentary leader Syed Qazi Sadruddin was also included in the city council.

In the meeting, a detailed discussion was held regarding the increasing incidents of robbery in the city, the loss of precious human lives due to the firing of robbers, especially the killing of youths, the performance of the police department and the failure to protect the lives and property of the people.

Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami said that none of the students, youth, businessmen and industrialists are safe, the incidents of looting and armed robbery in the city and the non-arrest of the criminals are also a question mark on the performance of the police department, due to which the people are not satisfied. The sense of security is increasing. The inclusion of a large number of youths among the victims of robbers’ firing is a cause of more pain. Talented and intelligent youths are the capital of the country and the support of their homes and families. They are taking their lives.

Businesses are getting affected, industries are shifting from Karachi and people are losing their jobs.

Jamaat-e-Islami demanded an end to the incidents of street crimes and armed robbery in Karachi and said to ensure the establishment of peace and order in the city so that business and employment are also protected and the urban youth, traders and industrialists of Karachi are also at ease. Can live together.

Munum Zafar Khan demanded that the police fulfill their responsibility, ensure the safety of the public and take effective action against the criminal elements, drug dealers and dacoits network in the city.

In the meeting, Additional IG Imran Yaqub Minhas assured that the police are trying their best to improve the law and order situation in the city.
