Judge Afzal Majoka remarked that since an accused had requested an early hearing, the court had to balance things. Application is made on plain paper, attach affidavit along with the application. No one has been made a party in the application.

The lawyer said that the case was reserved for judgment in the first court, but the case was transferred to the second court. On this occasion, PTI’s founder also filed a request to fix the appeals of the Nikah case in Iddat for early hearing and to suspend the sentence, on which the court directed to file an affidavit with the request.

The court adjourned the hearing till June 11 by issuing notice to the parties again on the appeals of punishment in the Iddat Nikah case and on the appeals for suspension of sentence.
